English Translation
As the sun remains untouched by the water in a pot, as fire dwells hidden within wood, so does Narayana dwell within the soul, witnessing all as a silent presence. Each one's experience belongs to their own body; destinies are varied in this world. The Lord, dressed in many colors, plays the part of a renunciant within this spectacle. The body follows the pattern of one's own thoughts; each is a stranger to the other. Pleasure and suffering come from one's own threefold karma. Says Tuka, this puzzle is incomprehensible to anyone. Only by his own judgment does the intricate design come undone.
