English Translation
One should observe great restraint in the company of saints. Idle chatter only brings a beating to one's own chest. A dog barks at random, and for that it receives blows upon its back. One who does not know the proper time or place behaves like a fool and earns only the honor of disgrace. Says Tuka, why this useless prattle? It is nothing but the stench of droppings.
