English Translation
Shukra's eye was destroyed because he stood in the way. One who obstructs is made blind. If God wills it, what is impossible? Why then do you exhaust yourself in vain, trying to stay separate? The sages' wives disobeyed their husbands and carried food to Krishna. God accomplished all their work and preserved both duty and honor. Prahlada turned against his own father, and the demon was slain. Though many obstacles were placed in the way, the devotee did not abandon his resolve. The gopis committed what the world calls adultery, leaving behind all propriety and decorum. Yet what they received, no one else has ever received: God Himself became one with their very being. Practice that which brings you nearer to God; shun the action that separates you from Him. Says Tuka, He knows the heart's true yearning. That is why even Ajamela was saved.
