English Translation
The harvest has come; guard it on all four sides. The crop is ripe, but you must watch over it. Rest only until the grain is standing. Take up the sling with force, and the flocks of birds will flee in panic. Light your fire and stand guard through the night. When sleep threatens, summon both strength and wit. When the threshing is done and the world is fed from the harvest, pay the dues and give to each their share. Says Tuka, once the true grain is in hand, there is nothing more to be done. The chaff has been separated and thrown away.
