English Translation
We shall sing, and let none object. God has not told us otherwise. Chant Rama, Rama, clap your hands, dance and sway with love for your own highest good. When something comes naturally, why be lazy about it? Playing with fire burns the hands and feet. Here there is no shame, no show of piety, no worldly decorum. Whoever laughs at this earns the sin of slaying a Brahmin. Express your devotion however you feel it; God has no interest in keeping beat or melody. Says Tuka, blessed are those who find time for hearing the sacred stories. All others have come into this life as stones.
