 पापाचिया मुळें । जालें सत्याचें वाटोळें ॥1॥

 तुका ह्मणे कांहीं । वेदा वीर्य शिH नाहीं॥3॥

'T^H ROUGH sin, truth has been utterly destroyed. The clouds shrink from falling down, the crops have forsaken the soil. Tuka says. The Vedas have lost all strength and courage.
