Abhanga 2651Devotion to Vitthal

English Translation · I.P. 2651

Co unfordable is the stream of life that we know ^^ not how to cross it. The savage beasts of lust and wrath fill us with dread. The eddies of illusion and desire whirl formidably round us. The 2 billows of desire surge up ; worldly transactions toss men to and fro. As the only means of passage, Tuka seats himself in the boat of the name.

Tr. J. Nelson Fraser & K.B. Marathe (1915, Vol. III)
