—seat the pain of separation there. Give me night and day the meditation of that dark, lovely, sweetness-filled form. Let my thirsty life drink the love-nectar of the Name. Raghunandana, adorned in Sītā's rasa, give life to Maṇi Rasaranga. (122) As a miser becomes absorbed on seeing treasure, make my tongue repeat your name. Dark as a new rain-cloud, give the water-drop of your form to the rain-bird of my eyes. Give me fair understanding, pure limbs, the bodice of loving attachment, and Sītā. Beloved of Jānakī, Rāma, give life to the life of Maṇi Rasaranga. (123) Mother, place in my heart a trace of Bharata's devotional brotherly love. Let me easily receive a portion of rasa and, like Lakṣmaṇa, be absorbed as a fish in water. Slay lust as you slew Vāli and give me, like Sugrīva, the kingdom of happiness. Beloved of Jānakī, Rāma, give life to the life of Maṇi Rasaranga. (124) Give the lotus of my mind and eyes the charming bodice of grace. Ocean of compassion, best of kinsmen, let me drink love. Enchant my eyes, the joyful cakora birds of the moon of your face. Beloved of Jānakī, Rāma, give life to the life of Maṇi Rasaranga. (125) Taking with it the bee of the mind, this lovely six-footed petition dwells in the lotus of Rāma's feet, dyed in the rasa of love for the Name. Intoxicated bees, steeped in nectar, are buds at the twin lotus feet. Rāma the handsome youth teases the ruffian lovers in Ayodhyā's lanes. We die in longing for him, beneath his eyes' loving glance. Maṇi Rasaranga is uniquely cherished by the dear Boy and Lady. (126) The true guru gave refuge in Sītā-Rāma while the world's people burned. Dyed in the nectar of the Name, he found no relish in the contentious speech of worldly attachment. Happy in this world and the next, he abandoned grief, although he had strayed from the ascetics' company. Rasaranga Maṇi is sustained by morsels of Sītā-Rāma's grace. (127) O revered guru—
