Fresh English translation

—the eyes have drunk that beauty and, saturated with delight, are intoxicated. Then, becoming unconscious as they are crushed, they receive a singular gracious glance. Looking upon him, Rasarangamaṇi's weeping eyes grow red. (115) Sītā's beloved, lover of hearts, cast your gracious glance upon us. Let us taste the nectar of love; smile gently and grant your vision. When you see me falling, do not count my faults—take my arm and lift me up. Make imperishable love and the Name dwell in Maṇi Rasaranga's heart. (116) Without us you remain bliss itself, but without you we are miserable, O forgotten Friend. Alas, I forgot you, Lord, yet you continued to sustain me. Lord of Sītā, immersed in every rasa, you remain apart from a sullied mind. Beloved giver of life to the living, you, Raghubīra, are ours. (117) Māyā and the mind's impurity form the curtain that has fallen between us. Or perhaps I alone have put on the curtain, Lord, while you stand beyond it. Yet, Rasarangamaṇi, he who makes and removes the curtain is also its guardian. Beloved giver of life to the living, you, Raghubīra, are ours. (118) Bearer of the Name and Name itself, formless and formed, Rasaranga, you encircle Sītā's heart. More pervasive than all that pervades, subtler than the subtle, you lie beyond mind and speech. Sun that destroys the darkness of delusion, you stand apart from Māyā's pleasures. Beloved giver of life to the living, you, Raghubīra, are ours. (119) Beloved, give me the sweet rays of your face to drink. Dark and delightful Rāma, give your luscious vision to my eyes and heart. Lover who delights Sītā's tongue, place the name ‘Sītā’ upon my tongue. Wise beloved of Jānakī, give life to the life of Maṇi Rasaranga. (120) By the grace of the beloved touchstone of love, grant an excellent gift of light. Dear Lord, feed the famished devotee richly with the nectar-food of devotion. From your moving lips make Lakṣmaṇa's happy mouth speak the Name. Beloved of Jānakī, Rāma, give a friend to the life of Maṇi Rasaranga. (121) Beloved of my heart, upon my heart at every moment—
