—अमल भक्ति-शक्ति भक्तिमहारानी हैं ॥८॥ इति वन्दना मङ्गलाष्टकम् ॥ अथ श्रीरामनामरसरङ्गविलासम् ॥ (कवित्त) नामहीं रटत प्रहलाद शुक शौनकादि पुंडरीक पाराशर नारदादि गावहीं । नामहीं रटत रुक्माङ्गदादि भीष्म बलि त्रिजट विभीषणादि रटें रामनामहीं ॥ नामहीं रटत मनु शिवि रन्तिदेव भरत दधीचि हरिचन्द यश पावहीं । नामहीं रटत रसरङ्गमणी हटे दुख रटै मुख तब जब रामहीं रटावहीं ॥१॥ नामहीं रटत हैं सुग्रीव हनुमंत जामवंत अंगदादि अनगन्त कीस राजहीं । नामहीं रटत मुनि लोमस भुशुंडि वालमीक वैनतेय याज्ञवल्क्य भरद्वाजहीं ॥ नामहीं रटत श्रीवशिष्ठ वामदेव अत्रि गौतम सुतीक्ष्ण अगस्त्य नाम गावहीं । नामहीं रटत रसरङ्गमणी हटे दुख रटै मुख तब जब रामहीं रटावहीं ॥२॥ नामहीं रटत हैं गणेश शेष औ दिनेश विधि अमरेश तथा महेश रटि पावहीं । नामहीं रटत शुद्धज्ञानी औ विरागी योगी त्यागी सिद्ध साधक सुभागी रामनामहीं ॥ नामहीं रटत हरिमुक्त जगतनेह-त्यक्त दिवानक्त अनुरक्त रूपाशक्त गावहीं ॥ नामहीं रटत रसरङ्गमणी मिले मुक्ति दूसरी न जुक्ति वेद नामहीं बतावहीं ॥३॥ नामहीं रटे हैं रामानुज रामानन्द-स्वामी तुलसी-गोस्वामी प्रेमधामी रटें नामहीं । नामहीं रटे हैं कीलदेव अग्रदेव नाभा नामदेव कबीरादि सर्व भक्त गावहीं ॥ नामहीं रटे हैं चारि संप्रदा-अनन्त-सन्त पंथ अनपंथ ग्रंथ नाम के बनावहीं । नामहीं रटत रसरङ्गमणी मिले मुक्ति दूसरी न जुक्ति वेद नामहीं—

—spotless devotional power: such is Queen Devotion. Thus ends the auspicious octet of praise. Now begins the play of rasa in Śrī Rāma’s Name. Prahlāda, Śuka, Śaunaka and the other sages, Puṇḍarīka, Parāśara, and Nārada sing while repeating the Name alone. Rukmāṅgada and the others, Bhīṣma, Bali, Trijaṭā, Vibhīṣaṇa and the rest repeat Rāma’s Name alone. Manu, Śibi, Rantideva, Bharata, Dadhīci, and Hariścandra gained renown by repeating the Name alone. Rasarangamaṇi says: suffering departs through repetition of the Name, but the mouth repeats only when Rāma himself makes it repeat. Sugrīva, Hanumān, Jāmbavān, Aṅgada, and countless monkey chiefs repeat the Name alone. The sages Lomaśa, Bhuśuṇḍi, Vālmīki, Garuḍa, Yājñavalkya, and Bharadvāja repeat it. Vasiṣṭha, Vāmadeva, Atri, Gautama, Sutīkṣṇa, and Agastya sing the Name. Rasarangamaṇi says: suffering departs through repetition of the Name, but the mouth repeats only when Rāma makes it repeat. Gaṇeśa, Śeṣa, the Sun, Brahmā, Indra, and Śiva obtain their goal by repeating the Name alone. The pure in knowledge, the dispassionate, yogins, renouncers, perfected ones, practitioners, and the fortunate repeat Rāma’s Name alone. Those liberated by Hari who have abandoned worldly attachment—madly devoted, passionately attached, absorbed in the divine form—sing it. Rasarangamaṇi repeats the Name and attains liberation: the Veda declares that no other method exists. Rāmānuja, Svāmī Rāmānanda, and Tulasī Gosvāmī, abode of love, repeat the Name alone. Kīladeva, Agradev, Nābhā, Nāmadev, Kabīr, and all the devotees sing it. The four traditions and endless saints repeat it; paths and even non-paths compose books about the Name. Rasarangamaṇi repeats the Name and attains liberation: the Veda declares that no other method—
