The explanation resumes: the divine companions attain immortality and sport in the third abode. Revelation thus makes clear that a soul cannot enter that realm without relationship to Śrī Sītā-Rāma. The soul's bond with the Supreme is beginningless, but ignorance causes it to be forgotten. Through grace, the teacher restores true knowledge of that forgotten bond. This is called relationship-knowledge or awareness of relationship, and the text identifies it with complete surrender. The Bhagavad-gītā is then cited as remembered scripture. In 4.11 Kṛṣṇa says that as people approach him, so he responds to them; the commentary explains that he is attained according to the devotional disposition in which he is worshipped. Gītā 8.6 says that whatever state one remembers when abandoning the body at death, that very state one reaches, because one has continually been formed by it. Thus attainment follows one's cultivated disposition. Tulsīdās is quoted: as one's inner disposition is, so is the form of the Lord one sees. The page closes by beginning a sequence—disposition, rasa, relationship, and love—which continues on the next page.
