English Translation

I have come pleading in many ways, yet You do not take me to heart. Why then, O God, should I nourish this false longing any further? Between You and me, the bond has broken. Now our meeting will be only in thought. Says Tuka, a life that depends on unfulfilled desire is a life of shame.
