English Translation
An ornament weeps when placed on a body degraded by misery. When the virtuous encounter misfortune, it is a mismatch, O Panduranga, O ocean of compassion. One who does not know how to cook ruins even what is set before him ready-made; what was lovingly prepared goes to waste. Says Tuka, when a wish-fulfilling gem is tied around the neck of a goat, it falls into disgrace.
