English Translation
First, the great burden of ego must fall away; only then does receiving instruction bring joy. Memorizing scriptures by rote is useless so long as the heart remains impure. A horse carries heavy loads, yet gains nothing from them; recitation without devotion is just the same. Says Tuka, hold steadfast faith, if you truly seek the Lord of Pandhari.
