English Translation
The cows lowed for Him, and the treasury of liberation stood ready, listening for their call. He relished the leftover food from the cowherds' hands, and the garland-bearing Lord was delighted. He stole and ate milk, curds, and butter, for devotion had bound the discus-bearing Lord. Though desireless by nature, He became love-struck, sitting and waiting for the gopis. Says Tuka, this is the dark-hued Consciousness that pervades all things yet remains apart.
