देहशुद्धिं विधायादौ पूजयेद्रघुनन्दनम्। पूजाद्रव्याणि संशोध्य पूजापात्राणि शोधयेत्। द्रव्यैः सुप्रोक्षितैः सम्यक् पूजयेत् पुरुषोत्तमम्। विधिनाराधितो रामः सम्यगाराधितो भवेत्। मन्दिरं मार्जयित्वाथ देवमावाहयेद्विभुम्। आवाहयित्वा देवेशं मध्ये पाद्यं तथार्पयेत्। मधुपर्कं ततो दद्यात् ततस्त्वाचमयेद्विभुम्। सरय्वादिसलिलैर्देवं स्नापयेत् सीतया सह।

Fresh English translation
Having first purified the body, one should worship the delight of the Raghus. Purify the substances and vessels of worship. With materials properly sprinkled and cleansed, worship the Supreme Person. Rāma is rightly worshipped when worshipped according to rule. Sweep the shrine and invoke the all-pervading Lord. After invoking the Lord of gods, offer water for his feet in the centre, then present the honey-mixture and water for sipping. Bathe the Lord together with Sītā in water from the Sarayū and other sacred streams.
