English Translation
After many births of longing, the fruit has come at last. The name of Vitthal rests on my lips, and love has been stored in my chitta as destiny. From here to the end, there is no more need for worry. Says Tuka, the mind is satisfied; this is the auspicious gift of grace.

Through many births I longed for it. Now its result has come. The name Vitthal is on my throat. Love is stored up in me as my earnings. From here to the end, there is no more need to worry. Tuka says: the mind is full; this is the gift of good fortune.
What it means
Tukaram counts the cost in lifetimes. The longing of many births has at last borne its result: the name Vitthal now rests on his tongue, and love is laid up in him like savings carried forward. Because that is secured, he says, there is nothing left to worry about from here to the very end. The mind is finally satisfied. He calls this the auspicious gift, the good fortune that crowns all the births of waiting.
