English Translation
Wherever I look, there He stands, the very essence of all the sky. Seated, seated within my eyes; the vision has remained and pervaded all. The mind has been drawn forward, and the eyes have been made bright and clear. Says Tuka, now let there be abiding with God always.

In Plain Words
Wherever I look, there he stands, the very core of the whole sky. He has settled in my eyes, settled there; the vision has stayed and spread through everything. My mind has been drawn forward; my eyes have been made clear and bright. Tuka says: now let me always abide together with God.
What it means
Tukaram describes a vision that has taken over his seeing. Wherever he turns, Vitthal is standing there, the essence filling all of space, until the form has lodged in his eyes and spread out to cover everything he looks at. This is not strain but ease: his mind is drawn toward God and his sight has been cleansed and brightened by what it beholds. The closing line is the only thing left to want. Having once seen God everywhere, he asks simply to go on abiding with him without break.
Ecstasy and Joy
Triumphant happiness: poems written from the far side of the struggle.
