(3) Victory to the incomparable form of consciousness, forever immersed in the ocean of contemplative rasa; victory to the Compassionate One—tell us, for our sake and the lowly's welfare, the root of bliss. His eyes opened filled with love; from a thousand mouths sounded Rāma's name, and the four Śrutis rained flower-like ṛcas when they heard the Lord's joy. (4) Seeing the four Vedas standing distressed with folded hands, he seated them lovingly and spoke fear-dispelling words: “Blessed, blessed!” they cried on both sides. “Listen, best of the Vedas: I feel shame in speaking of the abode beyond the course of words. (5) There is neither mind, intellect, consciousness, guṇa, Prakṛti, nor element. The triple peak, sky, vibration, light, and sound all remain midway below. There is neither yoga, dispassion, knowledge, discriminating insight, moving or unmoving being, qualified or unqualified, fourth state, time, nor thief. (6) Neither knowledge nor ignorance, neither duality nor nonduality exists there; why say much—none of the four liberations is there. A fifth liberation becomes loving sport there, arranged by bliss.” “You have told a unique thing; by what means is the Treasury of Grace attained?” (7) From his sacred mouth he said: “Among a thousand people, one is a practitioner; among ten thousand practitioners, scarcely one becomes an unobstructed adept. Among a hundred thousand adepts, perhaps one once turns his mind to brahman-reality; among ten lakhs of those, only occasionally does one attain the eleventh devotion.” The page ends as he describes that eleventh devotion piercing the tenfold path and entering the heart.
