Fresh English translation

—he came to Ayodhyā, knowing that his departure was near. Śrī Rāmapriyāśaraṇa, Rasaranga's lineage-guru, abandoned the five elements and journeyed to Rāma's abode. (3) In Vikrama year 1953, on the dark-fortnight twelfth, a Tuesday in Āṣāḍha, the lineage-guru left his body beside the swelling Sarayū and journeyed to Rāma's city. The guru Śrī Kāmendra was uniquely powerful, wholly absorbed in the rasa of friendship. Rāghavendrasakhā, friend of Raghu's line, shone famous throughout the world. By his spiritual power he visibly revealed the divine form here. His mouth continually uttered the dear names Sītā and Rāma. Having renounced child-marriage, his ears would hear no worldly tales and the like. Giving his disciples the rasika relationship with Sītā-Rāma, he made Rasaranga blessed. The guru Śrī Kāmendra was uniquely powerful, wholly absorbed in the rasa of friendship. (4) In Vikrama year 1960, in the bright fortnight of the month of Kvāra, on a Tuesday, the considered moment came. At dawn in the blessed abode of Ayodhyā, Maṇi Rasaranga attentively uttered the names of the Divine Couple. Burning all three bodies in the fire of separation from Rāma, he attained the divine form and held meditation on Sītā-Rāma in his heart. Svāmī Śrī Rāghavendrasakhā Kāmendramaṇi left all the worlds and went to Rāma's abode. (5) Śrī Agradāsa, unagitated in mind, was the foremost worshipper of Rāma and Sītā. He held in body and mind the desire for service through all eight watches. He brought devotional rasa to maturity and proclaimed it before the Lord. Through his Dhyānamañjarī he poured a current of nectar into rasika hearts. He sustained exclusive devotion to Sītā-Rāma in three ways. For Maṇi Rasaranga, the tradition of the former teachers is the heart's beneficent abode. Śrī Agradāsa, unagitated in mind, was the foremost worshipper of Rāma and Sītā. (6) Homage to Śrī Sītā and the Rasa-coloured Sportive Lord. Again and again I bow to the devotees who are wholly free from the attitudes of worldly becoming, who are endowed with divine feeling, and who depend entirely upon both members of the Divine Couple. Thus, auspiciously, it is complete.
