The page resumes the royal tableau: Bāūlāl and Śatrughna serve with fans. Vibhīṣaṇa stands holding bow and arrows, the Niṣāda king stands nearby, and mighty Aṅgada bears sword and shield. Jāmbavān carries the betel tray, while Rasaraṅgamaṇi beholds the beauty of his own service and is fulfilled. Sītā and Rāma reign upon the throne; seeing the beauty of every limb, even Love and Rati are ashamed. The victor who conquered all three worlds and made Rāvaṇa acknowledge his bounds now reigns. Sages rejoice, gods are flooded with divine happiness, and those who sing his glory feel joy within. Bharata bears the lovely parasol, Lakṣmaṇa waves the fly-whisk, and Śatrughna moves the fan. The whole assembly is adorned; Raghurāja sits upon the royal throne beside Sītā. The Vedas now praise him in the form of court bards. Rāma’s renown adorns noble faces, sounds in the gods’ music, gives repose to the ears, fills the discerning poets’ compositions and evening recitations, and is complete in books and Purāṇas. It shines in autumn nights, through the sky and every direction, in the generosity of the dark Lord, upon Śeṣa’s thousand mouths, within Rasaraṅgamaṇi’s very life, and over lotus-like faces. It rests on autumn clouds and moonbeams, on the crowns of gods, on the holy abode; on Sarasvatī’s recitation, in unfolded metres, on the pages of scripture, and at the summit of Vedic chant. It is manifest in heroes, saints, and the primordial poet’s verse; it dances on Śiva’s matted locks and along the banks of the river issuing there. The next comparison begins with a celestial grove and Śiva’s face and continues onto the following page.
