[मूल — चौपाई और दोहा] त्रत्रा त्राहि २ नित करिये। हरिजन रक्षक मन में धरिये॥ जनम मूल आशा जग तजिये। सहजानन्द सजिये प्रभु भजिये॥ आस न कोइ कि कीजिये, गह प्रभु बल गुण ऐन। त्रास आस हरि कृपा की, परमानन्द सुख देन॥ [सुजन-प्रबोधिनी सरल टीका] त्रकार व्यंजन द्वारा श्री रसिक अली जी महाराज इस दीन के मुख आप कहते कहवाते हैं कि भगवान से प्रार्थना करते हुये त्राहिमाम २ अर्थात् मेरी रक्षा २ कीजिये। इस प्रकार सदैव श्री प्रभु से प्रार्थना करते कहते रहिये। ये हृदय में सदा निश्चय निःसन्देह रखिये कि निज जन के रक्षा करने वाले श्री रघुनाथ जी अवश्य हैं। भागवत के जन और भगवान दोनों हरिजन के रक्षक हैं और सदैव सहायक हैं। “हेतु रहित जग जुग उपकारी। तुम तुम्हार सेवक असुरारी॥” (गो० तु० दा०) जनम का मूल अर्थात् जनम मरण का स्थान ये जगत है और इस जगत में बारम्बार जनम लेना मरना आशा द्वारा ही होता है। इससे जनम मरण बारबार देने वाली जगत की आशा निःसन्देह त्याग दीजिये और सहज रूप से बिना परिश्रम जो आनन्द प्रसाद मिले उसको ही ग्रहण करते हुये और सब दिन श्री प्रभु को ही भजते रहिये अर्थात् श्री प्रभु का ही भजन कर सहज में आनन्द प्राप्त करिये। उसी आनन्द मय भजन को सजते रहिये। यानी प्राप्त करते रहिये। और श्री प्रभु का बल भरोसा धारण कर श्री प्रभु के गुणों को ठीक हृदय में धारण कीजिये और जगत में किसी की भय न कीजिये। कहने का तात्पर्य है कि जगत की आशा त्रास दोनों छोड़कर श्री प्रभु की भय और श्री प्रभु की ही आशा कृपा की रखिये। ये दोनों बातें परम आनन्द रूपी जो सुख है उसको देने वाली हैं इत्यादि। प्रभु की आस त्रास बल भारी। प्रभु बिन नहिं कोइ निज हितकारी॥
[Root — Chaupai and Doha] Tratrā: Pray continually, ‘Protect me, protect me,’ and hold in the mind that the Lord protects his devotees. Abandon worldly hope, the root of rebirth; worship the Lord and adorn yourself with spontaneous bliss. Place no hope elsewhere: take hold of the Lord’s strength and treasury of virtues. Reverent fear and hope in Hari’s grace bestow the happiness of supreme bliss. [Sujana-prabodhinī Simple Commentary] Through tra, Śrī Rasik Alī makes this humble commentator say: Pray to Bhagavān, ‘Protect me, protect me.’ Continue always in such prayer to Śrī Prabhu, certain beyond doubt that Śrī Raghunātha protects his own people. The Lord and his devotees both protect and continually assist Hari’s people. ‘Without motive you benefit the world age after age; O foe of demons, both you and your servants do so.’ (Gosvāmī Tulasīdāsa) The world is the ground of birth and death, and hope directed toward it causes repeated birth and death. Therefore abandon worldly expectation without doubt. Receive whatever joy comes naturally as grace, without anxious striving, and worship Śrī Prabhu every day. Through his worship attain joy naturally and remain adorned with that blissful devotion. Trust in the Lord’s strength, hold his virtues firmly in the heart, and fear no one in the world. In short, abandon worldly hope and fear; retain reverence for Śrī Prabhu and hope only in his grace. These two bestow the happiness of supreme bliss. Hope in the Lord and reverence for him are mighty strength; apart from the Lord, no one truly works for one’s good.
