[Root — Doha] Ñañā: Fool, this human body will pass away, though you have obtained a human birth. What good is the human body if it once more becomes an ally of hell? [Sujana-prabodhinī Simple Commentary] Śrī Rasik Alī Jī Mahārāja says: if, after obtaining such a beautiful human body, a foolish person earns for himself the road to hell, what benefit came from receiving a human embodiment—what fruit did it bear? By giving him a human body, Bhagavān, without any cause, graciously offered deliverance, as it is said: ‘Bestowing compassion, he gave a human body; the loving Lord gives it without cause.’ Yet through his own base conduct he went back among the hell-bound and became a helper that leads only to hell. What was gained by this? Did he not merely waste Śrī Prabhu’s causeless compassion and grace? ‘You obtained a human body, difficult even for the gods to attain, yet went away forgetting the Lord’s compassion. Whatever you desire, you could attain through action; worship Śrī Prabhu and go near Śrī Prabhu.’
