[मूल — दोहा] झझा भाँति बजाइ के, सिय रघुबर गुण ग्राम। गावो हिय प्रीति प्रेम भर, तज पाखंड विश्राम॥ [सुजन-प्रबोधिनी सरल टीका] इससे ग्रन्थकार श्री रसिक अली जी महाराज कहते हैं कि भाँति बजा बजा कर, श्री रघुनाथ जी के सहित श्री किशोरी जी के गुण समूहों को हिय से अत्यन्त प्रेम में भर कर गाओगे; तभी तत्काल ही विश्राम को पाओगे क्योंकि; ‘कलौ केवल कीर्तनात्।’ ‘कलिय में हरि कीर्तन अति प्यारो। प्रभुहि मिलावन जन रखवारो॥’

[Sujana-prabodhinī Simple Commentary] Through this, the author Śrī Rasik Alī Jī Mahārāja says: play in varied ways and, with the heart filled with the deepest love, sing the gathered virtues of Śrī Kishorī Jī together with Śrī Raghunātha Jī. Then you will immediately attain repose, because ‘in the age of Kali, through kīrtana alone.’ ‘In the age of Kali, Hari-kīrtana is exceedingly dear; it brings one to the Lord and protects his people.’
