[मूल — चौपाई] छछा छोड़ो हठ अज्ञाना। चारों वेदन यही प्रमाना॥ [सुजन-प्रबोधिनी सरल टीका] श्री रसिक अली जी महाराज छकार व्यंजन द्वारा आदेश करते हुये कहते हैं कि अज्ञान स्वरूप जो हठ है उसको छोड़ दो (हठ और अज्ञान इन दोनों को छोड़ दो)। इनके त्यागने का प्रमाण चारों वेदों में है कि अज्ञानरूपी हठ ही जन्म बन्धन का कारण जीव के लिये है। इस ने इसके बिना छोड़े तुम्हारा यथार्थ वस्तु में अनुराग (प्रेम) नहीं होगा। यानी यथार्थ पथ में प्रवृत्ति नहीं होगी इत्यादि।
[Root — Chaupai] Chhachā: Abandon obstinacy and ignorance; all four Vedas give this very testimony. [Sujana-prabodhinī Simple Commentary] Through the consonant chha, Śrī Rasik Alī Jī Mahārāja commands: abandon the obstinacy whose nature is ignorance—abandon both obstinacy and ignorance. All four Vedas testify that these must be renounced, for obstinacy in the form of ignorance is the cause of the soul's bondage to birth. Without abandoning it, you will have no love for the true Reality; that is, you will not enter the true path. And so forth.
