[मूल — चौपाई] नन्ना नातो जग से छोड़ो। सियाराम परि कर में जोड़ो॥ [सुजन-प्रबोधिनी सरल टीका] नकार व्यंजन द्वारा श्री ग्रन्थ कर्ता जी महाराज कह रहे हैं कि प्रथम जगत से नाता न रक्खो। अर्थात् सांसारिक व्यवहारिक जो झूठे नाते गोते हैं, उनको छोड़ो, और श्री सियाराम जी से दृढ़ भावना अनुकूल नाता सच्चा रक्खो और जो श्री सीताराम जी के परिकर सेवक भक्त जन हैं॥ उनसे अपनपौ मान नाता लगाओ। जब तक तुम संसारी नाते छोड़ श्री सीताराम जी व उनके परिकरों से सम्बन्ध अपनपौ नहीं रक्खोगे, तब तक तुमको यथार्थ सुख नहीं प्राप्त होगा। ये भाव है।
[Root — Chaupai] Nannā: Forsake your ties with the world; join yourself to Sīyā-Rāma's retinue. [Sujana-prabodhinī Simple Commentary] Through the consonant na, Śrī Granthakartā Jī Mahārāja says that first one should keep no bond with the world. In other words, abandon the false ties and connections of worldly dealings. Maintain instead a true relationship with Śrī Sīyā-Rāma Jī, in harmony with firm devotional feeling; and regard as your own, and form a bond with, the servants and devotees who belong to Śrī Sītā-Rāma Jī's retinue. Until you abandon worldly ties and establish a relationship of belonging with Śrī Sītā-Rāma Jī and Their attendants, you will not attain true happiness. This is the meaning.
