—परस्वरूप में बुद्धि जाती है। एवं बताये स्वस्वरूप के अनुरूप श्रीयुगलसरकार का अष्टयाम निरन्तर मानसी तथा बाह्य सेवा किया करे। इस प्रकार से निरन्तर निदिध्यासन, याने बारंबार बराबर जो आजन्म, याने जब तक यह शरीर रहे तब तक निरन्तर चिन्तवन बना रहे, तो निश्चय देहान्त होने पर श्रीसाकेत में सायुज्य मुक्ति, याने अखण्ड श्रीयुगलसरकार का नित्यसेवा प्राप्त हो जायेगी। यह आचार्य, श्रुति, स्मृति सबका सिद्धान्त है। प्रश्न—सम्बन्ध को किस प्रकार से चिन्तवन करे? उत्तर—अमुकी हमारी माता है, अमुक हमारे पिता हैं, अमुक हमारे भ्राता हैं, अमुकी हमारी भगिनी हैं। इस तरह से आचार्य के दिये हुए सम्बन्ध के अनुसार दोनों नृपसमाजों में अपना सम्यक् प्रकार से सम्बन्ध को माने। श्लोकार्थ—इस तरह से शुद्ध मन से जो निरन्तर स्वस्वरूप, परस्वरूप, श्रीयुगलसरकार का चिन्तवन किया करेगा वह देहान्त होने पर श्रीयुगलसरकार के समीप में पहुँच जायेगा, अर्थात् श्रीसाकेतधाम में नित्य अखण्ड कैङ्कर्य को प्राप्त हो जायेगा। इति श्रीआत्मसम्बन्धदर्पणं श्रीजानकीघाट निवासी रसिकाधिराज संतशिरोमणि परम वैराग्यवान माधुकरीवृत्तिस्थ अनन्त श्रीमधुकर श्रीसियाशरणजी महाराज के श्रीचरणकमलरजोनुजीवी पं० जानकीवल्लभशरण कृत। (आनन्दवर्धिनी टीका समाप्त)

—the understanding proceeds to the form of the other. In conformity with the disclosed form of oneself, one should continually perform both internal mental service and external service of the Divine Couple through the eight periods of the day. If this repeated contemplation remains continuously throughout life, for as long as the body endures, then at death one certainly obtains sāyujya liberation in Śrī Sāketa—that is, uninterrupted eternal service of the Divine Couple. This is the doctrine of the ācāryas, revelation, and sacred tradition alike. Question: How should one contemplate the relationship? Answer: ‘This woman is our mother; this man our father; this man our brother; this woman our sister.’ In this manner, in accordance with the relationship granted by the ācārya, one should rightly understand one's relationship within the two royal assemblies. Meaning of the verse: One who, with a pure mind, continually contemplates one's own form, the other's form, and the Divine Couple will, at the death of the body, reach the presence of the Divine Couple—that is, attain eternal, unbroken service in Śrī Sāketa-dhāma. Thus ends the Śrī Ātma-sambandha-darpaṇa, composed by Paṇḍit Jānakīvallabhaśaraṇa, who lives on the dust of the lotus feet of Ananta Śrī Madhukara Śrī Siyāśaraṇajī Mahārāja—resident of Śrī Jānakī Ghāṭ, sovereign of devotional rasa, crown-jewel of saints, supremely dispassionate, and established in the mendicant’s way of life.
