—अलौकिक। तो जैसे लोक में सम्बन्ध है पिता पुत्र, स्वामी सेवक, पति पत्नी इत्यादि, एवं प्रकार का सम्बन्ध भगवान से करना यही भाव कहलाता है। और जिस तरह से लौकिक सम्बन्ध लौकिक कारक होता है उसी तरह से दिव्य सम्बन्ध मोक्षकारक होता है। और श्रीयुगलसरकार का जो रहस्य है, अष्टयाम सेवा इत्यादि, उसके चिन्तवन करने को भावना कहते हैं। अब भावपर श्लोक का अर्थ सुनिये—ज्ञान की पराकाष्ठा है माया, जीव, ब्रह्म का यथार्थ बोध होना और उस बोध की अन्तिम सीमा, याने अन्तिम सिद्धि, है आनन्द में मगन रहना। और आनन्द में मगन रहने की अन्तिम सीमा है श्रीयुगलसरकार में जैसा सम्बन्ध भावना है उसके अनुकूल दृढ़ प्रीति का उत्पन्न होना। प्रश्न—उस भाव का क्या प्रकार है अर्थात् वह सम्बन्ध किस तरह से किया जायेगा? उत्तर—नित्य, परमार्थस्वरूप, अखण्ड एकरस, अनन्त वैभव और अनन्त अनुराग, सुषमा अर्थात् परम शोभा, माधुर्य आदि दिव्य गुणों से युक्त सम्पूर्ण श्रीमिथिलाजी तथा श्रीअयोध्याजी हैं। उस युगलधाम में दो नृप-समाज हैं, अर्थात् श्रीमिथिलाजी में श्रीमिथिलेश महाराज और श्रीअयोध्याजी में श्रीचक्रवर्तीजी महाराज का समाज है। इन दोनों नृपसमाजों के मध्य में जीवात्मा का जिस प्रकार का आचार्य सम्बन्ध दिये हों, अर्थात् जीवात्मा का जैसा भावनामय स्वरूप बताये हों, वैसा अपने स्वरूप का निरन्तर चिन्तवन करता रहे। भाव यह है कि पहले स्वस्वरूप का ज्ञान होता है तब—

—transcendent. Just as relationships exist in the world—father and son, master and servant, husband and wife, and so forth—to establish such a relationship with the Lord is called bhāva. A worldly relationship produces worldly effects, whereas a divine relationship produces liberation. To contemplate the Divine Couple's secret—the eight-period service and the rest—is called bhāvanā. Now hear the meaning of the verse on bhāva. The culmination of knowledge is true understanding of māyā, the individual soul, and Brahman. The final limit or accomplishment of that understanding is to remain immersed in bliss. The final limit of immersion in bliss is the arising of firm love for the Divine Couple in conformity with one's relational disposition toward them. Question: What form does this bhāva take—that is, how is the relationship established? Answer: Complete Mithilā and Ayodhyā are eternal, ultimately real, unbroken and of one flavor, possessed of infinite majesty, infinite love, beauty—supreme splendor—sweetness, and other divine qualities. Within that paired abode are two royal assemblies: the court of King Mithileśa in Mithilā and the court of King Cakravartin in Ayodhyā. Between these two royal assemblies, the individual soul should continually contemplate its own form exactly as the ācārya has assigned its relationship—that is, the contemplative form the teacher has disclosed.
