When pure knowledge has dissolved all ordinary functions and the fourfold inner instrument, the pure self that remains is qualified for uninterrupted remembrance. This has already been explained. When devotional practice releases one from material relationships, the self becomes pure; after that a pure inner instrument also arises. Question: What marks attainment of this condition? The current of awareness remains continuously fastened upon the lotus feet of the Divine Couple, and divine qualities such as good conduct, contentment, compassion, and friendship arise. This should be known as pure realized knowledge. The answers concerning knowledge and realized knowledge—
