Some poets memorize my verses and peddle them door to door as their own. But when a true connoisseur appears, the pretender is shamed and has to flee. He gathers scraps of others' leavings and strains to produce feeling from them. Says Tuka, these outwardly pious frauds will never be accepted by Govinda.
