Life under the Influence of Religion
॥
English Translation · I.P. 804
WE have put off the life of the body and kept still at the feet of Vitthoba, knowing beforehand what will avail us. God is already at work; neither pleasure nor pain therefore possesses our minds, since we have heard his voice. I have become separate, alone, and still; I have cast my burden upon Vitthala. Tuka says, He whose mark I bear, he knows all that is good for me.
