Abhanga 750Devotion to Vitthal

Life under the Influence of Religion

English Translation · I.P. 750

HE dwells in my spirit; I rejoice in his words, now methinks I must go to visit him. Kinsmen pine away for each other; in separation they are not severed in spirit. There is eagerness to meet again, an anxious ear for tidings, eager enquiries after the past. Tuka says, The people of Hari are the life of my life, the close associates of ’my soul.
