Abhanga 749Devotion to Vitthal

Life under the Influence of Religion

English Translation · I.P. 749

AS we recall the name, our throat is choked with emotion; love swells within us. O bless me with that lot ! My hair stands erect; sweat breaks forth upon me; a flood of tears fills my eyes; my eight limbs arc tilled with thy love. I will consume all my body in uttering thy praises; I will sing thy name day and night. Tuka says, I will do nothing else till the end of the world; there is peace unending with the saints.
