काळ सारावा चिंतनें । एकांतवासीं गंगास्नानें । देवाचें पूजन । प्रदक्षणा तुळसीच्या ॥1॥
युH आहार वेहार । नेम इंिद्रयांचा सार । नसावी वासर । निद्रा बहु भाषण ॥ध्रु.॥
परमार्थ महाधन । जोडी देवाचे चरण । व्हावया जतन । हे उपाय लाभाचे ॥2॥
देह समपिऩजे देवा । भार कांहीं च न घ्यावा । होइऩल आघवा। तुका ह्मणे आनंद ॥3॥

English Translation · I.P. 731
WE should destroy time by contemplation, dwell alone and bathe in Ganges water; worship God and walk round the tulsi; control ourselves in eating and pleasures and master the organs of sense. We should avoid slothful sleep and excessive talk; we should make the Supreme Spirit our treasure, and the feet of God our possession. These are the means to procure true gain; we should offer our body to God and take no burden on ourselves. Tuka says, This will bring us perfect joy.
