Our Faith a Reward of Merit
English Translation · I.P. 339
IT is well that I was born and came to possess a human body. This was a great acquisition; it has made me fit for happiness. I received organs, hand, foot and ear, eyes, and mouth to speak with; these have gained for me thee, O Narayana, and thus the disease of mortal life vanishes. If merit is stored up grain by grain, then this is the reward after many lives. Thy name clings to my speech; when the saints are gathering around me for this spot that I have gained, how can I be grateful enough ! All I can do is to lay my soul at thy feet, O mother mine, Panduranga
