अस्य रामषडक्षरमन्त्रराजस्य ब्रह्मा ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, श्रीरामो देवता, रां बीजं, नमः शक्तिः, रामायेति कीलकं, श्रीरामप्रीत्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः।

asya rāmaṣaḍakṣaramantrarājasya brahmā ṛṣiḥ, gāyatrī chandaḥ, śrīrāmo devatā, rāṃ bījaṃ, namaḥ śaktiḥ, rāmāyeti kīlakaṃ, śrīrāmaprītyarthe jape viniyogaḥ|

Fresh English translation

For this six-syllable Rāma mantra, king of mantras, Brahmā is the seer, Gāyatrī the metre, Śrī Rāma the deity, rāṃ the seed, namaḥ the power, and rāmāya the key. Its application in repetition is for the delight of Śrī Rāma.
