Fresh English translation

For this Śrī Rāma surrender mantra, Śrī Rāmacandra is the seer, divine Gāyatrī is the metre, the Supreme Self Śrī Rāmacandra is the deity, rāṃ is the seed, and namaḥ is the power. Its application in repetition is for the attainment of every desired end. After purifying the hands with the root mantra, place the first seed upon the palms and hands, and place the remaining syllables upon the joints of the fingers.
