सहस्रं समाः जीवात्मनः पञ्चाङ्गोपासनां कुर्वन्ति, तत आनन्दरूपा भवन्ति। ततः ‘सदेव सोम्येदमग्र आसीदेकमेवाद्वितीयम्; स ऐक्षत बहुस्यां प्रजायेय।’ पूर्वं पञ्चाङ्गोपासकाः सृष्टिसमये श्रीकृष्णोपासनां समनुष्ठाय गोलोकं प्राप्नुवन्ति। तत्र केचित्तत्रैव तिष्ठन्ति, केचिद्रामोपासनाधिकारिणो भवन्तीति। विष्ण्वाद्युत्तमदेहे प्रविष्टो देवताभवत्; मर्त्यादधमदेहेषु स्थितो भजति देवताः।

sahasraṃ samāḥ jīvātmanaḥ pañcāṅgopāsanāṃ kurvanti, tata ānandarūpā bhavanti| tataḥ ‘sadeva somyedamagra āsīdekamevādvitīyam; sa aikṣata bahusyāṃ prajāyeya|’ pūrvaṃ pañcāṅgopāsakāḥ sṛṣṭisamaye śrīkṛṣṇopāsanāṃ samanuṣṭhāya golokaṃ prāpnuvanti| tatra kecittatraiva tiṣṭhanti, kecidrāmopāsanādhikāriṇo bhavantīti| viṣṇvādyuttamadehe praviṣṭo devatābhavat; martyādadhamadeheṣu sthito bhajati devatāḥ|
Fresh English translation
Individual souls practise the fivefold worship for a thousand years and thereby become forms of bliss. Then applies the teaching: ‘Being alone was this in the beginning, dear one, one without a second; it beheld and willed, May I become many, may I be born.’ At the beginning, the fivefold worshippers undertake worship of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and reach Goloka. Some remain there, while others become qualified for the worship of Rāma. Entering exalted bodies such as Viṣṇu's, the Self becomes a deity; dwelling in lower mortal bodies, it worships the deities.
