भजिबे लायक, सुखदायक रघुनायक सरिस सरनप्रद दूजो नाहिन। आनँदभवन, दुखदवन, सोकसमन रमारमन गुन गनत सिराहिं न॥ १॥ आरत, अधम, कुजाति, कुटिल, खल, पतित, सभीत कहूँ जे समाहिं न। सुमिरत नाम बिबसहूँ बारक पावत सो पद, जहाँ सुर जाहिं न॥ २॥ जाके पद-कमल लुब्ध मुनि-मधुकर, बिरत जे परम सुगतिहु लुभाहिं न। तुलसिदास सठ तेहि न भजसि कस, कारुनीक जो अनाथहिं दाहिन॥ ३॥
No other is as worthy of worship, joy-giving, and refuge-bestowing as Raghunayaka. The qualities of the Lord of Lakshmi—abode of bliss, destroyer of pain, and queller of sorrow—never reach an end however long one counts them. (1) Those who are distressed, base, lowborn, crooked, wicked, fallen, and afraid, whom no place admits, attain by helplessly remembering the Name even once that station which the gods cannot reach. (2) Sage-bees are enamored of his lotus feet, so detached that even the highest liberation does not entice them. Foolish Tulsidas, why do you not worship that compassionate Lord who stands by the orphan? (3)
