मंगल-मूरति मारुत-नंदन। सकल-अमंगल-मूल-निकंदन॥ १॥ पवनतनय संतन-हितकारी। हृदय बिराजत अवध-बिहारी॥ २॥ मातु-पिता, गुरु, गनपति, सारद। सिवा-समेत संभु, सुक, नारद॥ ३॥ चरन बंदि बिनवौं सब काहू। देहु रामपद-नेह-निबाहू॥ ४॥ बंदौं राम-लखन-बैदेही। जे तुलसीके परम सनेही॥ ५॥
The Son of the Wind is auspiciousness embodied, uprooter of the root of every inauspicious thing. (1) The Wind's son works for the good of saints; the Lord of Ayodhya dwells within his heart. (2) Mother, father, teacher, Ganapati and Sharada; Shambhu together with Shiva, Shuka and Narada— (3) I bow at the feet of every one of them and plead: grant me the constancy of love for Rama's feet. (4) I bow to Rama, Lakshmana and Vaidehi, who are Tulsi's dearest friends. (5)
