English Translation
Where Vaishnavas dwell, that land is blessed and the country is holy. There is no need of a remedy for any blemish; the messenger tells Yama himself to stay away. Under the weight of the Garuda-standard processions, the earth resounds with cries of victory. Naturally, on the tongues of those people: Govinda, Govinda. Tulsi gardens and festive garlands of color: the full splendor of Vaikuntha itself. Says Tuka, out of sheer fear, Death does not enter that domain.
We ask forgiveness for any inaccuracies in rendering Tukaram ji’s original Marathi.
The Saints
The character and service of true saints: softer than butter, harder than diamond.
