English Translation

Those who have stored Hari within the temple of their hearts have ended all their restless striving. Their trade has borne true fruit. Once Hari has come into one's hands, where is there room for fear or anxiety? Says Tuka, Hari does not allow anything to remain undone.

In Plain Words

Those who have stored Hari away in the temple of the heart have finished their restless coming and going. Their trade has borne real fruit. Once Hari has come into your hands, where is there any room for fear or worry? Tuka says: Hari leaves nothing unfinished, no lack and no remainder.

What it means

Tukaram is describing what changes the moment God is truly held within. He pictures the heart as a temple and Hari as the treasure stored safely inside it; for those who have done this, the endless back and forth of seeking is over. He borrows the language of trade to say the venture has finally paid off, that the lifelong striving has yielded its true profit. With Hari in hand there is simply no space left for fear or anxiety to occupy. The closing assurance is total: Hari finishes the work completely, leaving no deficiency and nothing still owing.
