English Translation
I came running to see Your face, and the sorrow of countless births was dispelled. What I had heard was exactly what I now beheld. My mind became steady at Your feet. Says Tuka, my desire is completely fulfilled. No trace of longing remains.

What it means
This is the moment of arrival after long seeking. Tukaram rushes to the darshan of God's face, and in that sight the grief carried across countless lifetimes simply drops. What he had only heard described in others' words he now confirms with his own eyes, and the proof steadies a mind that had never been still. The poem ends in complete rest: every desire is satisfied because the one desire has been met, and when the deepest longing is filled there is nothing further left to want.
