English Translation
This is my final prayer: may Your feet remain in my chitta. Grant me this gift of grace, that my mind stays ever near You. Without fortune there is no meeting, but through contemplation the bond is never severed. Says Tuka, this is the crowning plea; may Vitthal hear it.

What it means
Tukaram offers what he calls his final prayer, the one petition that gathers up all the rest: that God's feet remain settled in his heart and his mind stay forever near. He asks for this only as grace, a gift, not something earned. He acknowledges that meeting God depends on fortune one cannot command, yet insists that constant remembrance keeps the connection unbroken even so. He ends by marking this as the crowning request, the pinnacle of his asking, and begs that Vitthal will listen to it.
