English Translation
If questions arise, fitting answers should be given. Until then, I shall not put forth anything of my own before Him. God knows the inner truth, and when He dispels all fear, Says Tuka, once He has taken me in hand, He will free me from all sorrow.

In Plain Words
If questions come, the answer should be fitted to them. Until then I put nothing of my own forward. God knows the heart within. When He clears away all fear, Tuka says: once He has taken me by the hand, He will set me free of every sorrow.
What it means
Tukaram describes the patience of a faith that waits and does not press its own case. He resolves to answer only what is asked and otherwise to advance nothing of his own, trusting that God reads the inner truth without being told. He rests on God's timing: when God chooses to lift the fear, the change will come. The close names the assurance underneath it all, that once God has taken him by the hand, He will free him from every sorrow.
Faith and Trust
The boldness of faith, steadfastness, and the security of trusting in God.
