English Translation
Wherever my gaze falls, I will see Your feet there. I will rest in this contentment and worship You with my mind. You give everything of Yourself; You make us enjoy all abundance. Says Tuka, let us do whatever does not create bondage.

What it means
Tukaram turns ordinary seeing into worship. Wherever his eyes land, he resolves to picture God's feet there, so that the whole visible world becomes a place of devotion. Settled in that contentment, he offers worship inwardly, with the mind, needing no special setting. He thanks the Lord, who gives Himself fully and lets the devotee taste rich and complete joy. The closing line draws the rule out of it: let us choose only what does not tie us down, the kind of practice and life that frees rather than binds.
