English Translation
I do not hear words that are fitting or proper. Now, with sincere devotion, I have fallen at the feet of Vithoba. I cannot discern what is right; I seek only to calm the mind. Says Tuka, I make this humble plea; hold it in Your chitta.

What it means
Here the abhanga settles into plain surrender. Tukaram says he can find no worthy words and no clear sense of what is right; his only wish is for the mind to grow still. So he lays himself, in sincere feeling, at the feet of Vithoba, the God of Pandhari. The whole posture has shifted from demand to entreaty. He asks God simply to take this plea and keep it in his heart, trusting the appeal where his own wisdom has run out.
