English Translation
Narayana is the giver whose sankalpa is ever true. He fulfills every longing of the mind. Here all ornaments of devotion shine, for by the strength of pure intent, the fruits of longing are made real. With tender care he knows the seed within; he pervades the entire cosmos. Says Tuka, haste will not do. One must wait until the destined hour arrives.

What it means
Tukaram is teaching how God answers, and on whose clock. Narayana's resolve is never empty, so he completes whatever the heart truly longs for, and the wealth of devotion is what makes that longing bear fruit. God reads the seed buried in you, the inner feeling no one else sees, and he reaches into every corner of creation. Then comes the hard counsel: you cannot rush this. The fruit ripens only when its appointed hour comes, so devotion has to hold its trust and wait.
