English Translation
Do not fret; remain steady and calm. My Master is compassionate. In the end, He will give imperishable joy, and the cycle of eighty-four lakh births will cease. Other jivas too will be uplifted; countless acts of grace will follow. Says Tuka, abandon the pursuits of worldly life, and you shall attain the highest bliss.

Tukaram is steadying an anxious heart with a promise about who God is. The cure for the inner trembling is not more effort but trust: the Master is merciful, so be still. What he promises is total, an imperishable joy and release from the long round of rebirths counted as eighty-four lakh wombs. He widens it beyond the self, saying other souls will be saved as well and grace will multiply. The one thing asked in return is to let go of the obsessive pull of worldly life, and the highest bliss follows.
