Wielding discus and mace, this alone is His hustle. He keeps His devotees close to His feet; the wicked He annihilates. The unmanifest took form, endowed with qualities. Says Tuka, to each as they are, Vitthal becomes.

In Plain Words
Discus and mace in hand, this is the work he keeps busy with: he holds his devotees close at his feet, and he destroys the wicked. The unmanifest took on a shape, came into form with qualities you could see. Tuka says: to each person, just as they are, Vitthal becomes whatever they need.
What it means
Tukaram describes God as both protector and destroyer, and above all as endlessly adaptable to the devotee. Armed with discus and mace, the Lord's whole occupation is to shelter those who love him and to put down the cruel. The deeper wonder is that the formless Absolute consented to take a visible form, with attributes one could love and serve. And the closing line is the heart of it: Vitthal meets each person exactly where they are, becoming for each devotee whatever that devotee needs him to be. God is not a fixed remoteness but a presence shaped by love.
